Anyone else love that feeling of waking on a weekend morning, sans alarm, to a beautiful sunny day? Well it’s still chilly this morning, so its no beach, but I’ll take the sunshine any day!
Before I gear up to head out with my hubby and four legged love for an afternoon walk, I thought I’d share another winter gallery for your enjoyment!
Jillian and Ben were troopers heading out with me on this cold wintery session with their now (almost) 6 month old baby boy Henry. Visiting Ottawa from Trenton, these three were here to celebrate the Holidays with their family + friends.
Over the course of our emails I came to learn that Jillian was a Teacher, and so I though I’d suggest starting our session at the Fraser School House, an Ottawa Heritage building adjacent to Rideau Hall, known as the first School to serve the area of New Edinburgh. From there, we traveled the Georges-Etienne Parkway – which might I add, is becoming one of my favourite go to spots for a vast variety of locations – to a little pond/path across from the Aviation parkway. From there we stopped at our final location, a lesser known path, just off the side of the parkway, with a snowy evergreen lined trail. Having these three locations was a nice option for this cold day, not only for variety in photos, but also, for a chance to warm up in between!
Thank you for joining me on this wintery adventure you three! Henry’s sweet expressions had me smiling all throughout my editing of your gallery.
