A Family Session at the Dominion Arboretum

Happy Monday to you all! And might I add, it’s the last Monday of the month! It’s crazy to think that we are so quickly approaching the mid point of summer with the August long weekend upon us, but I think that’s a sign that we’ve been having a little too much fun over here…but actually, is there really such a thing?

Well, to keep the good times rolling, I thought I’d share one of my very favourite “Mommy and Me” sessions of the summer, featuring Kim + Tommy. I met with these two at the Dominion Arboretum with the hopes of catching the last of the early summer blooms at the end of June, and though we got some seriously fun and sweet captures in the flower beds, my all time favourite moments from this session were as we strolled along, and came upon a field of dandelions. At this point in the year the bright yellow had faded away to white seed, perfect for blowing and wishing – and isn’t that exactly what we did!

These two were so much fun to adventure with, and I absolutely loved capturing the strong bond of mother and son that they share with one another. Take a peek for yourselves!
